Serving as an extension of the Divinely Preserved Wisdom & Wellness Center (DPWWC) comes a metaphysical library and resource center for aiding in personal transformation and higher consciousness. Our small but quaint and ever expanding in-house library offers printed, audio, and/or online resources of the metaphysical kind, the Vivian D. Farmer Memorial Library is named in honor of the Center's mother, who died in her early 40s of breast cancer, but the emotional foothold that became that physical death is traced by to when her father unexpectedly and explainable passed away when she was only seven years old. Therefore, at DPWWC, the spirit of "Mama V" guards and protects not only the library but the entire grounds. So don't be surprised if you sense the warm, caring embrace of our guardian angel. ^j^
Membership Benefits:
As a registered cardholder of the Vivian D. Farmer Memorial Library, you'll have online access to your library card account from any Internet-enabled devices, including smartphones, tablets, etc. With your account, you can:
- Renew (or purchase) your library items
- View your check-out history
- Browse the library's collection
- Rate or write a review for an item
- Request items for purchase
Membership Levels:
- Standard Membership dues are $35 per year.
- Ultra Membership dues are $155 per year.
All membership levels allow members to take out (check out) items unless an item is labeled as in-house use only. Depending on one's library membership level, item availability, plus Center usage's, check-out periods range from two to four weeks. In-house use items typically applies to items designated as rare or apart of a special collection, such as textbooks, manuals, and magazines. These items can only be viewed at the Center.
Volunteer with Us to Earn Rewards:
We are always in need of volunteers to help maintain and update the library. Aside from free library membership as long as you're an active library volunteer, your time served can equate to discovers on holistic healing sessions and yoga classes with DPWWC.
