As an extension of our End-of-Life Doula Services, DPWWC also offers the Leave a Legacy Program for terminally-ill adults and children in the Shreveport-Bossier City area. Inspired by Soulumination, a Seattle (WA) non-profit organization that offers free photography sessions for terminal adults and families with terminal children, DPWWC’s Leave a Legacy program primarily serves families with terminally-ill parents who are approaching end-of-life and who have birth or adopted children under the age of 18. Families are provided with professional photographs – free of charge – as a loving legacy for the children of parents lost to terminal illness.
